Cool demos
 You can make your hair stand on end at the Van de Graaff generator several times a day. You can attend additional demos with special themes at weekends, on Wednesday afternoons, public holidays and during school holidays. Demos are only available in Dutch. New demos are regularly planned. The edutainers also drive around the exhibition building in a democar overflowing with fun experiments to be done together with the visitors. |  | Automated theatre
 In the “Zwarte Doos”, the theatre building of Technopolis, you can attend a performance on the human body called “Van kop tot been” (“From head to toe”) several times a day in an automated theatre. Together with the teenager Katia Morgana and the speaking skeleton Lucy Bones, you will discover what an amazing construction the human body is. The following subjects are presented in an original way: the eyes, the skeleton, the heart, the lungs, the brain and genetics. The performance lasts 30 minutes and is included in the normal entrance fee for Technopolis. All performances are in Dutch, with subtitles in French and English. Read more |
Science shows
 You can calmly squeeze in an amazing science show in the “De Kegel” auditorium of Technopolis at weekends, on Wednesday afternoons, on public holidays and during school holidays.
An edutainer introduces you to all sorts of scientific phenomena in an enjoyable and interactive way. New shows are planned regularly. The science show is presented in Dutch and lasts about 20 minutes. There are several shows a day. You can find the starting times at the entrance. In the “Smarty Pants” show, the elderly can get acquainted with ordinary consumer devices and their various buttons and switches in a fun and interactive way.
